Jayyam Enterprises started as a retail business for school and office supplies in the early months of the year 2005. Registered with the Department of Trade and Industry as a Single Proprietorship business on January 14 of that same year, it catered mostly to college students studying at a co-located University and started its formal operation on February 28, 2005, which is now celebrated as the Company Birthday or Anniversary.
The small retail store which was manned by the proprietress herself continued to serve its limited market in the coming months, providing whatever items the students requested for…one at a time. As the co-located University offered science courses, there came to be a need for Medical Supplies retail was indeed a promising business considering the wide variety of items which can be offered to the students. However, it was very seasonal. When the environment buzz waned, many lean months followed. Jayyam Enterprises started its operation with a very minimal capital and with the rent being paid for the space, the bills that needed to be settled, and the cost of investment not even ¼ of which has returned after five months of operation, the owner decided that something had to be done if the business were to survive. It was no longer practical to wait for walk-in customers… it was time to go out and bring the products and services to the people who really needed them.
With a lot of patience and integrity, Jayyam Enterprises was finally able to set its runway towards its goal as it slowly shifted from retail to a Distributorship business starting August of 2005. The Following year, Jayyam Enterprises moved from its original address to an office space where it stayed for some time until it was finally able to put up its own office and warehouse in April of the year 2011.
Jayyam Enterprises now operates as one of the most active distributors of some of the most trusted brands of medical and laboratory supplies as well as drugs and medicines within the North Luzon Area, employing a sufficient number of manpower in cater to its continuously growing clientele. As a Company who believes in business based on trust Jayyam Enterprises was able to build its name and strengthen its relationship with its existing clients through good service and quality products and honest win-win business ventures.
